All Star

In the figurative sculpture “All Star," I reimagine a vintage female mannequin as an emblem of resilience in the face of an imagined dystopian urban landscape. Clad in a tank top, red wings on her shoulders, ripped blue jeans, and classic Chuck Taylor shoes, she embodies a fusion of timeless street style and a survivor's grit. Gripping a gas mask, this mannequin becomes a symbolic archetype of adaptability and preparedness, transcending the fashion realm to convey a narrative of resilience in a world marked by uncertainty. She exudes strength and determination; something we women know something about.

She was created from a vintage Adel Rootstein mannequin made in England. She would be a wonderful addition to any home.

If you purchase "All Star" and live in the Asheville area I will deliver and set her up in your home for free. If you live within 200-250 miles of Asheville, I will deliver and set her up for a nominal fee not to exceed $250.
